Claudia Thorp (she/her) otherwise known as Eye Fleur is a Brisbane/Meanjin based ceramicist and art event curator. Claudia hand builds her ceramics from her home studio, sculpting both original conceptual artworks and functional pieces. Eye Fleur has hosted and taken part in numerous exhibitions and events Meanjin wide over the past four years. You can look forward to seeing her work on her newest multimedia collection in the studio, mixing textiles, jewellery and ceramics.

Throughout the month of May, Practice Studio founder Kat Walsh will be playing in the gallery space and working on designs for her upcoming label Naught Nu. Naught Nu’s first collection will be made entirely from Kat’s current deadstock fabric stash and any trims, threads and notions will be sourced from within the studio’s walls. By buying ‘nothing new’ and limiting the availability of resources, Kat will be challenged to make the most of what already exists; an exercise in creativity guided by sustainable design principles.
